CPD & LEA Link Impact
Since 2012, the school has been running a staff PE CPD program. In addition, the school engages in the Schools Sports Partnership within the Warrington area along with LA PE coordinator courses. We have also committed to the CPD of the sports coach through courses provided by Warrington live wire with the aim of ensuring our school continues to work with innovative sports delivery ideals.
As a result, our teachers are more confident in delivering lessons and providing resources to ensure high standards and continuity throughout the PE in school. Through CPD we aim to keep all staff skilled in teaching effective and good quality lessons. The school has now delivered 'Real PE' Inset and employed a sports coach to develop Real PE within lesson time to increase the performance and skill levels of children as well as increasing teacher knowledge and undersatnding to ensure even higher quality PE lessons throughout school.
PE Values:
Our aim is to stimulate our children into a lifelong love for sport. We have developed links with local sports clubs outside of school and help children make contact to take their interest in sport further.

Sports Funding Objectives 2018 – 2019
Overview
Schools receive PE and sport premium funding based on the number of pupils in years 1-6. Schools receive £8000 and an additional payment of £5 per pupil annually. The funding must be used to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer. This means that the premium should be used to:
- Develop or add to the PE and sport activities that the school already offers
- Make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years
The DFE provides clear guidance on how funding can be used. Ofsted assesses how primary schools spend their PE and sport premium and schools are also required to publish details of how the funding is spent on their website.
