Spelling
We follow the Literacy Counts Ready Steady Spell scheme for spelling from Year three to Year six. Spelling lessons take place three times per week for approximately 20 minutes per session . The children are given spellings each Friday to learn for a test to be administered the following Friday. These spellings are based on the spelling rules the children have been learning that week and from the Statutory Word Lists.
